Biography
Emine Tunc, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Tunc earned her medical degree at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in Turkey. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic, where she also received advanced training through a fellowship in neuroscience. She then completed a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Washington.
Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric emergency medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
Dr. Tunc is a member of the Society of Pediatric Sedation and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
