Biography

Eric Montague Steen, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He serves as Medical Director of the Anticoagulation Clinic at Parkland Memorial Hospital and works extensively in the Parkland Center for Internal Medicine. He specializes in general internal medicine.

Dr. Steen earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Virginia. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. In addition, he served in the National Health Service Corps and completed the UT Southwestern Faculty Scholars Program.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Steen joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 1990.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
