Biography

Garrett Jones, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Jones earned his medical degree at the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed a residency in pediatrics at St. Francis Children’s Hospital through the University of Oklahoma–Tulsa School of Community Medicine, where he also received advanced training through a fellowship in child abuse pediatrics.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and child abuse pediatrics, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Jones is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of several professional associations, including the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, and the Dallas Medical Society.
