Biography
Heidi Camus Turpen, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Kansas, then went on to earn her Master of Science in Human Nutrition at Colorado State University. After working as a dietitian for a few years, she earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Southwestern School of Health Professions in 2013. She has worked in urology since 2014.
Her clinical interests include general urology with a special interest and experience in MRI/TRUS fusion prostate biopsies.
She is the co-Assistant Program Director of the Garry Weber Advanced Practice Provider Urology Fellowship.
