Biography

James Galloway, M.D., is a Clinical Associate Professor of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Division of Hospital Medicine.

Originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Galloway earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. He completed internal medicine residency training at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he developed his interest in inpatient and hospital-based medicine, treating a wide variety of acute medical conditions, as well as a passion for teaching medical students and residents.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Galloway joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.

Personal Note

Dr. Galloway’s interests outside of medicine include travel, reading literary fiction, cooking, and spending time with family.
