Biography

Jenna Alvarez, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a Physician Assistant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Las Colinas. She has been a provider at UT Southwestern since 2019. Her specialties include well-woman visits, routine prenatal care, prenatal and gynecological problem visits, preconception care, gynecological procedures, and contraception management for women.

Ms. Alvarez completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2015 and then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Health Professions in 2018. She is board certified as a physician assistant and has been a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants since 2014.

When she is not working, Ms. Alvarez enjoys cooking, cheering on the Texas Longhorns, and traveling with her husband and two daughters.
