Biography

Jenna Keelan, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in fetal cardiology and pediatric echocardiography.

Dr. Keelan earned her medical degree at New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Cornell University Medical College. She gained advanced training through a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Columbia University Medical College and a fellowship in pediatric and fetal cardiac imaging at the Icahn School of Medicine.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric cardiology, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Keelan’s research interests include fetal heart disease counseling and fellowship education in fetal cardiology. She has published several academic articles and delivered numerous invited lectures and presentations.

In 2017, she earned the Resident Research Award from the Department of Pediatrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
