Biography
Jennifer Ashby, M.S., APRN, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the Department of Internal Medicine - Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Ashby completed her undergraduate degree at Texas Woman’s University in Dallas and her master’s degree in advanced practice nursing at Georgetown University in 2009.
She has worked as an inpatient nurse practitioner in intensive care and cardiovascular surgery. She transitioned to the ambulatory setting with the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Program in October 2024. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Heart Failure Society of America and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
