Biography

Jennifer McConnell, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. McConnell completed medical school at UT Southwestern Medical School and pediatric residency at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After residency, she was a clinical instructor in pediatrics and cardiac critical care hospitalist at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital in New York, New York. She received advanced training through a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at UT Southwestern.

A board-certified pediatrician in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2017.

Dr. McConnell is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
