Biography
Jennifer Schopp, M.D., is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center and a member of its Breast Imaging Division. Her clinical interests include evaluating the extent of breast cancer and breast interventions.
Dr. Schopp earned her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and performed her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She then received advanced training in breast imaging through a fellowship program at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
Prior to joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2016, Dr. Schopp was an Assistant Professor of Radiology at MD Anderson.
Her research focuses on breast magnetic resonance imaging, management of high-risk breast lesions, and diagnosing and treating granulomatous mastitis, and she has co-authored nearly a dozen scholarly articles on these subjects.
Dr. Schopp has particular expertise in educating residents and fellows about managing contrast reactions.
She is an active member of the Society of Breast Imaging and the Radiological Society of North America.
