Biography

Jessica Nelson, MPAS, PA-C, has been a board-certified physician assistant (PA) in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center since 2010.

She earned her undergraduate degree at the Texas A&M University, and then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Southwestern School of Health Professions. 

Ms. Nelson's interests include female urology, neurological diseases, nephrolithiasis, and kidney cancer.

She currently serves as President of the Urological Association of Physician Assistants (UAPA), and has been a member of the Education Committee for UAPA since 2012. She is also a member of the Texas Association of Physician Assistants; the Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine & Urogenital Reconstruction; and the American Urological Association.
