Biography

Jessica Stone, Psy.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist originally from Southern California. She earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Human Development from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Master of Science degree in School Psychology from the University of La Verne. After several years working as a school psychologist within the California public school system, Dr. Stone pursued advanced training and obtained her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with special emphases on family systems and diversity from Azusa Pacific University.

Throughout her career, Dr. Stone has developed a strong interest in working with individuals from underrepresented backgrounds and has provided services to clients across the lifespan. Her professional experience spans a wide range of settings, including community mental health centers, psychiatric hospitals, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, academic health centers, and the private sector. She joined the faculty of UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2023.

As a clinician, Dr. Stone emphasizes a collaborative and respectful therapeutic relationship, valuing patients as experts on their own lives. She utilizes time-limited, evidence-based therapeutic approaches to support patients in navigating psychological stress, strengthening personal resilience, and cultivating a more meaningful and empowered life.
