Biography

Jody Barnhardt, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general obstetrics and gynecology and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. Barnhardt earned her medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, California.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2024.

Dr. Barnhardt is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

In addition to her areas of specialization, she has clinical interests in cervical dysplasia and working with underserved populations.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Barnhardt enjoys traveling, exploring new cuisines, and skiing.
