Biography

Katherine Constantin, M.S.N., APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at UT Southwestern Medical Center’s Multispecialty Psychiatry Clinic. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing in Philadelphia. Before obtaining her M.S.N., Ms. Constantin worked as a staff, charge and travel registered nurse across multiple acute care specialties, developing a strong clinical foundation and a holistic approach to patient care.

After becoming PMHNP-certified, she practiced in the Psychiatric Emergency Department at Parkland Hospital, where she provided acute psychiatric evaluation, treatment and stabilization for diverse and underserved populations before joining UT Southwestern.

In her current role, Ms. Constantin is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered mental health care. Her clinical interests include improving access to care, enhancing continuity of treatment and optimizing outcomes for individuals across the lifespan. She joined UT Southwestern to further her commitment to lifelong learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and advancing psychiatric mental health care.
