Biography

Khairunissa Meghani, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the Department of Internal Medicine - Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She brings more than 20 years of diverse nursing experience across a wide range of care settings. Before specializing in nephrology, she practiced as a primary care nurse practitioner, managing complex chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes mellitus and hyperlipidemia.

Board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and credentialed in basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, and pediatric advanced life support. Ms. Meghani is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Her approach emphasizes evidence-based practice, preventive education and a strong commitment to improving health outcomes and quality of life for patients with kidney disease.
