Kristen Gallagher, M.P.A.S., PA-C

Biography

Kristen Gallagher, MPAS, PA-C, is a board certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Department of Pediatrics - Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Kristen completed her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and then earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2017. She has worked in pediatric hematology and oncology since 2018 with a particular focus on leukemia, bone marrow transplant, and cell and gene therapy. She is passionate about providing comprehensive and compassionate care to her patients and their families. Before joining UT Southwestern in 2022, she worked at Texas Children's Hospital Cancer Center in Houston. She was also an Instructor at Baylor College of Medicine where she enjoyed teaching PA students in both didactic and clinical settings. She writes and reviews questions for the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam. She volunteers as a PA in the community to help make healthcare accessible to those in need. She enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, being active (especially outdoors), and spending time with her husband.
