Biography

Kristen Moryan-Blanchard, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in general pediatric endocrinology and has a special interest in differences of sex development, shared decision-making, and puberty.

Dr. Moryan-Blanchard earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Duke University Medical Center and received advanced training in pediatric endocrinology through a fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Moryan-Blanchard is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of several other professional organizations, including the Pediatric Endocrine Society, the Endocrine Society, and the Endocrine Ethics Association.

In 2021, she was recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Clinical Ethics by the Division of Clinical Ethics at Texas Children’s Hospital.
