Biography

Laura Turer, MSN, AG-ACNP is a board certified acute care nurse practitioner in the Department in Internal Medicine- Hematology / Bone Marrow Transplant at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Mrs. Turer completed her undergraduate nursing degree from the University of Florida. She went on to work as a medical/surgical/oncology registered nurse at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, in Nashville, TN where she then earned her Master's degree in nursing. She went on to work as a nurse practitioner caring for hospital patients at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, MI. She returned to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to start her career with hematology patients in their outpatient and inpatient stem cell transplant program. She joined the inpatient hematology and bone marrow transplant team at UT Southwestern in 2021.
