Leah Nguyen, M.S.N., APRN, CPNP-AC

Biography

Leah Nguyen, M.S.N., APRN, CPNP-AC, is a board-certified acute care pediatric nurse practitioner with Children’s Health Endocrinology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Piedmont University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2023.

Ms. Nguyen is based primarily at Children’s Medical Center Plano, where she provides inpatient and outpatient care for children with a broad spectrum of endocrinopathies. Her clinical interests include Type 1 diabetes, including antibody screening for early detection and the use of monoclonal antibody therapy to delay onset.

Her interest in endocrinology is both personal and professional, as she has lived with Type 1 diabetes for more than 26 years.
