Leah Skelton, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-C

Biography

Leah Skelton, M.S.N., APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical focus is breast medical oncology, with specialty training in DCIS management.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Baylor University in 2016. She developed a passion for oncology during her work as a registered nurse while working in a bone marrow transplant and oncology intensive care unit.

She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
