Biography

Lisa Wilkins, BS, RN, BSN, CCRN, RNFA, AGNP-C, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner who holds her First Assist license in the Neurosurgery Department at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Wilkins completed her undergraduate biology degree in 1993 and spent 11 years in scientific research at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She then completed her RN and BSN in 2008 and 2011, respectively, working in neurological intensive care. After completing the graduate Nurse Practitioner program at Texas Women's University in 2016, she continued her pursuit of neurosciences working in neurosurgery. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, the Texas Nurse Practitioners Association, and has years of experience as a Registered First Assist in the operating room.
