Biography
Lori A. Thornton RN FNPC, is a board certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the Department of - Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery at Children's Health and Hospital System Dallas on behalf of UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Thornton completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Memphis Loewenberg School of Nursing in Memphis, TN. She then earned her Masters of Science in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program from Texas Woman's University Dallas, TX in 1998. She also underwent a specialty pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship through Scottish Rite for Children and Children's Dallas in 2012. Ms. Thornton has worked in pediatric orthopedics since 2004 with a particular focus on pediatric fractures/ trauma and musculoskeletal infection.
