Biography

Matthew Borgman, M.D., is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Borgman earned his medical degree at the Uniformed Services University in Maryland. He completed a residency in pediatrics at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium and received advanced training through a pediatric critical care fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric critical care medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Borgman is Director of Education in the Division of Pediatric Critical Care at UT Southwestern. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, BloodNet, Pediatric Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis Investigators, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
