Michael Freeland, M.S.N., APRN, ACNP-BC

Biography

Michael Freeland, M.S.N., APRN, ACNP-BC, is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center, with a focus on inpatient management of patients with hematological malignancies and those undergoing bone marrow transplant.

She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing and acute care nurse practitioner education and training from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She developed an interest and passion for hematologic malignancies while working as a registered nurse. She has over 11 years of experience in hematologic malignancies.

She is a member of Oncology Nursing Society and is on the Oncology APP Fellowship Workgroup at UT Southwestern.
