Biography

Nadia Merchant, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Merchant earned her medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar and completed a residency in pediatrics at Boonshoft School of Medicine in Ohio. She then pursued a residency in genetics and received advanced training through a pediatric endocrinology fellowship, both at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric endocrinology and by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics in clinical genetics, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.
