Biography

Natalie Cohen, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, fibroids, and endometriosis.

Dr. Cohen earned her medical degree at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The Mount Sinai Hospital and received advanced training through a clinical fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at UT Southwestern.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Cohen is a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons.

Her scholarly work includes peer-reviewed academic articles related to her areas of expertise in journals such as the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology and the AJOG Global Reports.

In 2024, she earned the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons’ President’s Award.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Cohen enjoys running, cooking, and spending time with family.
