Biography

Niki Parikh, M.D., M.B.A., M.S.B.A., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in andrology, male infertility, prosthetic urology, and reproductive and sexual health, with expertise in microsurgery, fertility preservation, fertility care, quality improvement initiatives, and general urology.

Dr. Parikh earned a Bachelor of Science (summa cum laude) from Texas Tech University. She then completed a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Business Administration specializing in health organization management at the Rawls College of Business.

She obtained her medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, followed by a urology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She then completed a fellowship in andrology and infertility at Baylor College of Medicine before joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.

Dr. Parikh is an active member of numerous professional societies, including the American Urological Association (AUA), the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), the Society for the Study of Male Reproduction (SSMR), and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She has served on various committees for the SMSNA and SSMR, co-edited a special issue of Urology (Gold Journal) on global trends in male infertility, and reviews manuscripts for several leading journals.

Dr. Parikh has received multiple honors, including Alpha Omega Alpha membership, Mayo Clinic’s Surgeon of the Month, and the SSMR/SMSNA Men’s Health Traveling Fellowship. She has presented her work nationally and internationally – from the American Urological Association and SMSNA to the European Society for Sexual Medicine – and is widely published on topics ranging from male reproductive surgery to fertility preservation and prosthetic outcomes.

Her academic interests include translational research in male infertility, innovation in prosthetic and reconstructive urology, access to fertility care, and teaching and mentoring the next generation of urologists.
