Biography

Nishah Panchani, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in hospital medicine.

Dr. Panchani earned her medical degree at the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital.

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Panchani’s clinical interests include quality improvement and medical education, and she has a special interest in women's health and health disparities. She has been trained in using bedside ultrasound to assist with diagnosis and enhance patient care.

She has delivered several presentations and published peer-reviewed academic articles related to her areas of expertise.

Personal Note

When she’s not at work, Dr. Panchani enjoys hiking, traveling the world, and spending time with friends and family.
