Biography

Philip Ewing, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Ewing earned his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Children’s Medical Center Dallas, where he also received advanced training through a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric emergency medicine, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Ewing is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the National Association of EMS Providers and the Texas Pediatric Society.
