Biography
Priscilla Yu, M.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in pediatric cardiac critical care.
Dr. Yu earned her medical degree at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine. She performed her residency in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and received advanced training through a pediatric critical care fellowship at UCLA Mattel Children's Hospital, a medical education fellowship at the David Geffen School of Medicine, and a cardiac critical care fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is currently completing a master’s degree in clinical science at UT Southwestern.
Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both general pediatrics and critical care medicine, she joined the faculty at UT Southwestern in 2016.
Dr. Yu’s clinical and academic interests include pediatric cardiac critical care and pediatric resuscitation science.
She has delivered presentations and published several peer-reviewed academic articles related to her areas of expertise, and she is a member of the American Heart Association and the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society, among other professional organizations.
