Biography

Rachel A. Smith, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in medical oncology in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center's William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital.

She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in 2001. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Medical Branch in Galveston in 2011. As lead author, her abstract on Leptomeningeal Metastases was selected for presentation at the annual Society for Neuro-Oncology meeting in 2017.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Academy of Neurology, the Society for Neuro-Oncology, the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, and the Oncology Nursing Society.
