Biography

Ranjith Kasanagottu, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Kasanagottu earned his medical degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. He completed a residency in pediatrics at Einstein Medical Center Philadelphia and received advanced training through a developmental-behavioral pediatrics fellowship at Prisma Health in South Carolina.

Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, he joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2023.

Dr. Kasanagottu is the Resident Program Director for the Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics Rotation at Children’s Health Dallas. He is a member of the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group, the Texas Chapter of the Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, and the Texas Medical Association.
