Biography
Rebecca L. Eary, D.O., M.P.H., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a primary care physician and researcher who specializes in cancer survivorship, management of complicated chronic conditions, implications of social determinants of health, and cancer prevention.
Dr. Eary earned her medical degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed a residency in family medicine at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Illinois. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Physicians, Dr. Eary joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.
She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the North American Primary Care Research Group, and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.
