Biography

Rickey Morazzano, D.M.Sc., M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant practicing in the Acute Care Clinic at UT Southwestern's Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi in 2018, followed by a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2022. In 2025, he completed a Doctor of Medical Science degree at the University of Lynchburg.

Before joining the Simmons Cancer Center, Mr. Morazzano gained extensive experience in inpatient hospital medicine and blood and marrow transplantation. His clinical focus is the acute management of complex oncology patients. He is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy.
