Biography

Riya Thenayan, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) in the Department of Cardiology -Electrophysiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Ms. Thenayan completed her undergraduate degree from Texas Woman's University in 2010 and then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Baylor University in 2015. She has worked in general Neurology from 2015 to 2017, Heart Failure from 2017-2021 and joined the Electrophysiology Clinic at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2021. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Heart Rhythm Society.
