Biography

Rochelle Hartmann, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant at UT Southwestern Medical Center in the Department of Surgery - Bariatric and Foregut Surgery. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and completed her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina, in 2017.

Before becoming a physician assistant, Ms. Hartmann worked as a registered dietitian at Parkland and Children’s Health, where she built a strong foundation in nutrition and patient-centered care. As a physician assistant, she has experience in gastrointestinal medicine and surgery.

Her clinical interests include bariatric and foregut conditions, including hernia and abdominal wall surgery, as well as colon disorders and colorectal cancer.

Ms. Hartmann is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
