Biography

Roz Brown, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She obtained a B.A. in sociology at Loyola Marymount University, as well as a Master in Social Work from California State University, Long Beach.

She specializes in treating grief/bereavement, depression, anxiety, complex medical co-morbidities, adjustment disorder, body dysmorphia, and weight management (pre/post bariatrics and cosmetic procedures). While therapeutic approaches are tailored to the unique needs of each patient, Roz’s core framework stems from a system and strengths-based approach.

Clinical experience includes long-term care facilities, dialysis, public mental health clinics, in-patient hospitals (behavioral health, cancer, infectious disease), and State of Texas investigations.
