Biography
Selamawit Yohannes, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical practice focuses on the outpatient management of patients with hematologic malignancies, as well as those undergoing bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies. She serves as the lead advanced practice provider for the Blood Cancers/Transplant and Cellular Therapies Clinic.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College in New York. With more than a decade of experience in hematologic malignancies, she brings a depth of clinical expertise and leadership to the care of complex patient populations.
She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.
