Biography

Selamawit Yohannes, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her clinical focus is on the inpatient management of patients with hematological malignancies, as well as those undergoing bone marrow transplant and cellular therapies.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and then earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro College in New York. She has worked in oncology for five years.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the Advanced Practitioner Society for Hematology and Oncology.
