Biography

Senthil Sivam, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Sivam grew up in Central Texas and pursued his medical degree at the Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research in India. He returned to Central Texas for residency in internal medicine at University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, where he served as Chief Resident.

He continued his career in academic medicine as an assistant professor at Dell Medical School. After nearly 20 years in Austin, Dr. Sivam decided to move closer to family to raise his two young sons and continue his academic medicine career at UT Southwestern.

Dr. Sivam has trained numerous cohorts of medical students and residents who have gone on to become outstanding physicians.
