Biography

Sheeba Cantanelli, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her primary clinical focus is caring for patients with breast cancer.

She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and psychology at the University of Houston. She then completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 1996. After working in primary care for several years, she completed a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies with a Hematology/Oncology specialty through the University of Nebraska.

She has worked in hematology/oncology since 2001. In addition to clinical work, she is interested in education. She has worked as a preceptor and instructor for the Physician Assistant program at University of North Texas, UT Southwestern and the Nurse Practitioner MSN program at UT Arlington.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Association of Physician Assistants in Oncology.
