Biography

Shiny Joice, APRN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. With a nursing career spanning more than two decades, Ms. Joice is dedicated to diagnosing health problems and delivering life-changing solutions for her patients.

She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing in India before relocating to the United States in 2004. She later earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2016, specializing as a family nurse practitioner. Throughout her career, Ms. Joice has gained extensive experience caring for critically ill and surgical patients and collaborating closely with cardiac, neurosurgical, trauma, and general surgeons.

Outside of her clinical practice, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and three children.
