Biography

Sneha Bhat, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. 

Dr. Bhat earned her medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine and received advanced training in surgical trauma and critical care through a fellowship at UT Southwestern. 

She joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2019.

Dr. Bhat received the 2015 Scott B. Frame Trauma Scholarship and the 2017 Academy of Scholars Outstanding Resident Award. In 2018, she earned the Resident Teaching Award and the Golden Apple Teaching Award from medical students at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine.
