Biography

Sofia Mathew, M.P.A.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center at UT Southwestern Medical Center. With several years of experience managing patients with cardiology diagnoses, she has a passion for cardiology. She is one of only a few physician assistants in Texas specializing in onco-cardiology.

She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University in 2007. She then earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at UT Medical Branch in Galveston in 2010.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
