Biography

Stephanie Torres Rodriguez, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine’s Division of Nephrology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Her areas of interest are general nephrology, acute kidney injury, home dialysis, and medical education.

Dr. Torres Rodriguez earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine. She received advanced training in nephrology through a fellowship at UT Southwestern, where she was both Chief Fellow and the recipient of the Outstanding Nephrology Fellow Award.

Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2021.

Dr. Torres Rodriguez is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Nephrology, and the National Kidney Foundation. She has delivered numerous presentations related to her areas of expertise.
