Biography
Taylor Schaubschlager, D.O., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in nephrology, with a focus on polycystic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, glomerulonephritis, and critical care nephrology.
Dr. Schaubschlager earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Broward Health Medical Center in Florida and received advanced training in nephrology through a fellowship at UT Southwestern, where she served as Chief Nephrology Fellow.
Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022. She provides medical services at William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital, Zale Lipshy Pavilion, Parkland Memorial Hospital, and affiliated clinics. She also serves on the Nephrology Fellowship Recruitment Committee.
Dr. Schaubschlager’s research interests include glomerulonephritis and polycystic kidney disease.
She is a member of several professional societies, including the American Society of Nephrology and the National Kidney Foundation.
In 2021, she received UT Southwestern’s Outstanding Nephrology Fellow Award.
