Biography

Thao Doan, M.H.S., PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) in the Harold C. Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center's Bone Marrow Transplant-Hematological Malignancies Clinic at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

She received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Virginia in 2000, and completed her Master of Health Sciences/Physician Assistant studies at Duke University Physician Assistant Program in 2004.

She has been providing care to patients with hematologic malignancies and patients undergoing bone marrow transplant treatment since 2013. Before that, she practiced in primary care/internal medicine, and worked as a physician assistant within the National Health Service in England. She enjoys taking care of patients with hematologic malignancies and has a special interest in lymphoma.
