Biography

Tristena Melton, APRN, CPNP-PC/AC, is a dual board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She practices in the Heart Center at Children’s Medical Center Plano. Mrs. Melton earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Tyler and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has worked in pediatric cardiology since 2008, focusing on cardiac critical care, the cardiac catheterization lab and cardiology consults.
