Biography
Tyler Evans, Ph.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in psychotherapy, health psychology, and psycho-oncology.
Dr. Evans earned her doctoral degree in counseling psychology at Texas A&M University. She completed her predoctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at WellSpan, focusing on health psychology in outpatient, primary care, and obstetrics and gynecology settings.
Licensed as a psychologist by the state of Texas and Pennsylvania, she joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2025.
She has delivered many presentations, worked on numerous research teams, and contributed to peer-reviewed publications in her areas of expertise.
