Biography
Veronica Cedillo, D.N.P., APRN, AGPCNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner in the Virtual Primary Care Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Cedillo earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Texas Woman’s University and completed a Master of Science in Nursing Education at the University of Phoenix in 2010. She later earned a post-master’s certificate as an adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner from The University of Texas at Arlington and is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. In 2021, she earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UTA.
Her clinical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, health promotion and expanding access to care through virtual health care delivery. She is fluent in Spanish and is a member of several professional organizations, including Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Cedillo is also an assistant professor in the Department of Graduate Nursing at UTA.
Outside of work, she enjoys running, playing soccer, volunteering through her church, traveling and spending time with her family.
